From home to work: At first, i have to mention that my work place is far away from my home, I live in Omdurman city and work in Khartoum city, Khartoum city where i work is situated at the confluence of the White and Blue Niles, so there are two possible ways to get there: Route-1-: Across the Blue Nile, and throughout a mid-city:Bahry •its a long journey, with longer travel time •its cheaper •i have to pass through two bridges, which is something i won't mind cause i enjoy the view of Nile. Route-2-: Across the White Nile, directly from my home city to my work city •a shorter journey, but still long however •its more expensive, cause its faster and time saver •lot of transports to take, and its bothering to get on/off so many times. 1-I usually take route-1- cause i dont like to take so many transports, i prefer minimum numbers of vehicles to take even if the journey is longer. 2-Both routes are time wasting. 3-the bus is the only form of public transportation inside the city. 4-the sun is hot in Sudan, and walking is not really a pleasant practice in such a weather.
