Recently the Mexico City government joint with several organization and made a call for Citizens to help them to crowdsource Mexican public transportation routes. There was no certainty about legal and ilegal routes, so the passengers made it through an App in their cellphone when traveling in some different buses. It was named "Mapaton" and it helped to know where this ilegal routes were operating and to check if there was a need to create more secure and dinamic services for citizens who go to work everyday and travles more than 1 hour per trip. For this safety mapping and solutions, I would make a call for every citizen in this area to contribute with their suggestions first, second with a map of incidents and crimes, to georeference where this happens and finally I would call them to meetings where they could compare their zone with more safer and beautiful zones across the city, so we could know what was different and to have ideas about the next approach. Once all this data was collected, we could prioritize them and start the changes in order to increase safety and peace.
