Global Construction Material The light colored walkway on the left side of the photograph is made out of teak wood. Teak wood is not commercially grown in North America. It is my understanding that it normally comes from Asia. It is considered to be a durable and appealing material for outdoor construction. The photograph shows how it has been used as a landscape walkway next to a high rise commercial building.
