The temperature in the city of Caracas has an intertropical mountain climate and pleasant almost all year round. Temperatures do not vary much from one season to another and so for example, the average temperature during winter (January) is about 21 ° C, while the average in the hottest month (May) does not exceed 24 ° C . Annually in the city the precipitations oscillate between the 900 and 1300 mm. while in the area of ​​the mountain range usually exceeds 2000 mm. The nights in the city of Caracas are very beautiful and the temperature almost never exceeds 20 ° C, while the hottest days can present temperatures of up to 30 ° C. In the months of December and January it is usual for the city to be covered with fog and that at night temperatures drop sharply to around 13 ° C. Thunderstorms usually occur during the months of June to October and sometimes even a hail storm can occur.
