My name is Nishtha Sadana and I am from India. Answer 1- fossil fuels used in the country are natural gas, oil and coal. (Research) Answer 2- as a developing country, major use is in the industries and factories. Due to over growing population and being the second country to have the most population in the world, the energy demands are too high. Transportation is a big reason for use of energy. Answer 3- I would first as an architect would try to incorporate the traditional methods of planning and architecture in the buildings which is for example like the mahals of Rajasthan. Encourage more use of stone and local available material than glass and steel. Though it serves the purpose of aesthetics but doesn’t support the tropical climate of India. There area additional services and energy required to cool down the buildings during hot summer months in the country. I would encourage more use of electrical operated cabs and cng public transport. More opportunities and amenities for the public transport users.
