During winter period, the sea level of Venice will rise temporarily, the pedestrian routes will be flooded and the normal ships cannot operate because the higher water level makes it difficult to pass under the bridges. Thus, this problem really troubles a lot residences’ daily life as well as tourists’ travelling experience. However, not entire Venice will be affected by high tide. Actually part of the alleys and areas will keep in good condition during that period. The idea of App comes from this condition and aims to provide information regarding to real time available routes during the high tide, and predicted available route in future hours even days in order to help people find their way to destination. With this App, government can also provide information of temporary passes built for high tide, information of water height in specific areas and suggestions (rain boots or other necessary outfits) to help residence/tourists to prepare well if they cannot avoid the flooding area.
