this peninsula was used as the airport for american jet fighters during anti-Japanese war. usually submerged during the monsoon seasons, its was left as grey land only until recently newly planned to be a public park during low tide seasons. With the data available and analysis possible, along with the technology available at hand to build new cities, i think we will be able to work out and coordinate in a better way the complexity of the city as one organism. as what is already happening in china, we are now able to plan, design and build a whole new mega city out of nothing within decades- which usually took centuries before. C it is interesting to see the exact sequence with which china built up its empire today. they started with massive investment in transport system. in turn this allowed accessibility for basic but crucial infrastructures such as energy (electricity), water, shelter (houses, offices, hospitals...) and only recently have i started seeing more development in health zone (new green and public parks, more emphasis on gyms, healthy diet, exercise...)
