My route takes me from home (red dot) to university (blue dot) and I have 4 possible routes: Blue route (either walking or cycling, both direct) Cycling - 2.9 km - 10 min -> preferred option, environmentally friendly and flexible in time, no traffic issues, some fellow cyclists OR Walking - 2.4 km - 30 minutes -> possible option, but takes much longer Green route Car - 3.2 km - 7 min Walking - 0.2 km - 2 min Total - 3.4 km - 9 min -> takes as long as cycling, but is more environmentally costly and traffic might cause delays Red-Orange route Walking - 0.7 km - 9 min Free bus - 2.0 km - 8 min Walking - 0.15 km - 2 min Total - 2.85 km - 19 min -> free bus runs only during day, not an option when working late, good option depending on the weather Yellow-Orange route Walking - 0.5 km - 6 min Bus - 2.0 km - 8 min Walking - 0.15 km - 2 min Total - 2.65 km - 16 min -> costs more than other options, requires walking and possible waiting (10 minute interval)
