Water, energy, transportation and health infrastructure are indeed crucial dimensions for the design of the future urban systems as they are the foundation of the future sustainability of the urban homes. I’m going to explain about electricity, i.e., energy. Energy is the basis of the development of an urban city. Without water a plant can’t grow in the same way without electricity a city can’t grow. Before even the construction of a city electricity is supplied to the area where the construction is going to start as more or less all the construction equipment need that. Water is also pumped using electricity. Building planning designing is done using electricity. Thus supply of energy is major in future sustainable cities. The image attached here shows how the high voltage lines were present in the before even the surrounding areas got developed in Banashankari IIIrd Stage, Bengaluru. This implies the impact of energy is crucial dimension of the future sustainable urban systems.
