A place were I would have the experience of learning new ways of doing the same basic habits is intriguing, as much as a challenge. Also, the safety issue is a matter of importance for people from my city nowadays, because we are living in an unsafe city. They are also big cities, and for that have job opportunities and a big diverse of people making the experience more attractive.
