Most livable cities I visited or lived in: Vienna Stockholm Copenhagen Amsterdam Berlin My livability criteria: safety accesibility/walkability sanitation/hygiene services (recreation, healthcare...) opportunities (for growth - education, job opportunities, support) In all previous exercises I talked about my current location, Stockholm. In this one I want to talk about my hometown Bratislava. Because it is a city that needs and deserves my attention as a proffesional and as a citizen. Discussing my criteria, Bratislava is a safe city, I never felt worried walking alone at night in most areas. In terms of accesibility it does not have underground but I do not think it is very needed at this point. The public transport is pretty complex and works 24/7. When I used to live there I was riding my bike to most places, even thou the city could use investment into bike infrastructure and pedestrian accesibilty in areas further from city center. Services and healthcare are comparable to Stockholm (pros and cons in both places). As last Bratislava is a city that is growing pretty fast not in size but in opportunities, citizen engagement so the opportunities increase.
