Livable cities: Melbourne, Australia. Vienna, Austria. Vancouver, Canada. Toronto, Canada. Calgary, Canada. What makes a city livable in my opinion: Sustainability (resilience); resilient local economy; Accessibility; Vibrant public spaces; robust and complete neighborhoods. Actually, the city where I live is holds only two of the five characteristics listed above, which are, accessibility and a resilient local economy. But in order to my city to be more sustainable, I think the citizens should be in total relation (in contact) with the government and city planners to help developing a new developed city, promoting sustainability throughout the region.
