Too 5 cities: Reykjavik, Helsinki Toronto, Copenhagen, Tokyo 5 factors in making a city livable: clean air, security, transportation, cost of living and closeness to nature. Oslo, Norway: The air in Oslo is relativly good, but during the coldest days in the winter there can be high level of pollution in the air, mainly due to cars and wood burning. The policyes from the city almost only focuses on private cars and not trucks and wood burning. The safety in Oslo is declining fast, mainly because of a high rate of immigration. Transportation in Oslo is good now, but changes will have to be made in the future if the city continue to grow at the same rate. Cost of living is a little high, but there is a lot of nature close by.
