Provisioning service: JOhannesburg has some provisioning services, it is built on the Witwater Rand which means Ridge of White Waters in Afrikaans. It consists of a hard, erosion-resistant quartzite metamorphic rock, over which several north-flowing rivers form waterfalls, which account for the name. The city gets a large amount of water from these rivers and sprouts. The rest gets substituted from Lesoto. Regulating service: Johannesburg is the Largest Man-Made Forest in the World. Johannesburg has over 10 million trees which will all contribute to lowering the UHI and providing clean air to the citizens Habitat of Supporting service: Johannesburg is home to a number of nature reserves Cultural service: Johannesburg's aim is to be the largest street art city in the world by 2040, and a fair amount of money goes towards it. There are already 460 official works in the streets of downtown Joburg.
