In an enormous city like London with almost 9 million residents, vast transportation infrastructure is required. As London is an old town, it was not built taking cars and traffic into account, which makes public transport in this city even more important. Due to this, large depots can be seen in and around the city. On the picture there is one of Londons 50 railway depots and a train care facility for Heathrow Express.
