Population density: changing quickly as many Europeans come work here at the EU building. Also, Alicante is a summer-vacation destiny that makes the density change drastically from summer to winter. I am sure the population will keep increasing in the coming years. Food: As the city changes and grows, food demand increases. The effect of having a very international community benefits the big supermarkets, that can offer a wider variety of products. Also, this factor is affected by the population-density, and food needs to be provided almost everyday. Water: The more the city grows the higher the water demand is. Related with the changes in population density, water demand is much higher during summer season. This might affect the water supply if not planned properly. Parking spots: Having a car or a motorbike has become a need in modern cities. The city-hall is transforming many car spots into motorbike spots to motivate people to drive a motorbike and alleviate the traffic inside the city. This actions will change the way people move within the city.
