This is a scene of the area around meenakshi amman temple, madurai. This picture was taken at noon which clearly denotes the activity of the people is lesser due to the hot sun.Being a temple the area is always active and people come here to socialize and shop.Movement of the vehicles are much lesser to avoid pollution in an historical site. These were the visible data from the location. The invisible information which i could analyse was NUM 1:Shade requirements for the people.People search shade in the scorching sun to rest and stand in the shadows of the building on either sides. Thus, by providing and maintaining more of the landscape area would be an alternative for this problem.Seatings could also be provided. NUM 2:Pavement shops.People are forced to walk on the roads as the pavements are occupied by the owners of the shops.Separate area could be provided on either side of the pavements which wold benefit both the vendors and the people to bring the dull environment lively.
