My app works like a dating app, but is for locals/tourists who want to go out with someone they have never met before. People lead busy lives; often with a monotone routine – work, shopping, kids, home. Meeting new people is challenging – especially meeting people who like similar things. The app would therefore have a preferences engine, so you only get notifications of “friend dates” with similar tastes. If you want to be adventuresome – to meet people who are completely different than you (or, maybe they aren’t, they just seem so at first) – then you can search All. I like this app, because as a woman I enjoy meeting guys – but do not always want to clarify that I have a boyfriend and only want to get to know them on a friendship basis. This app would make it clear from the start – default is simply getting to know new people.
