This is a picture of the Downtown commons in Sacramento, California USA. The main buildings of interest in this picture are the arena and the hotel under construction next to it. This picture illustrates the development of the hotel which consists of immense amount of concrete and steel. We can identify that this process is not renewable as the materials being created are cement and steel. Additionally, as a developed country the skills and ability to build such a building is taking on by more skilled workers allowing for a quicker development time as the resources are conveniently located near by or can be transported easily.
