1- I have a little experience about this, i already live only in two cities in the interior of the state of São Paulo, which can not be consider models of cities to living. And I visited cities from Brazil, and there isnt five, that i could consider very good cities to living, just good cities. So here in Brazil, i consider (with my little experience) that: 1 - Curitiba, Paraná (It is onde of the very good cities) 2 - Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro (it is consider a good city on the rankings, but i stayed a couple hours there, and i couldnt see many things) 3 - Londrina, Paraná. I believe, based on what i already read and saw, that really good cities are, for example, in Australia, Canada, Germany and others. 2- And The points that i consider important for a liveable city, are: 1 - Sustainability (i believe that if the city was planned with this focus, many things already work out) 2- Economy and so stability (this influences many things on the cities, including the next points), 3- Safety/Security (if people doesnt feel safe, they are not get out even on the street of their houses) 4 - Provide services, how education, health and so, variety of spaces that brings culture and recreation for the city, 5 - Mobility (considering all the means of trasportation), that also means acessibility. 3- The city that i live (Presidente Prudente, São Paulo), need to work to achieve these points. It isn't a sustainable city, there wasn't a correct planning when the city was created. The bad organization of the city influences on the safety (areas with no life and movement creates dangerous areas and then the feeling od fear on the people), on how the services of the city are distributed (there isn't a variety of spaces that offers culture, which is very poor, and recreation, it always the same places) and especially on the mobility (the streets do not carry the amount of cars, that is increasing day by day, and the traffic in specific hours is very bad, because there isn't many options of paths on the cities by car.
