1 – Oil production (122.8 Mtoe); Bio/waste production (84.3 Mtoe); Hidro Production (32.1 Mtoe). 2 - The dominant fossil fuels used in Brazil are for Transport (68.7 Mtoe) and Industry (33.8 Mtoe) 3 - If I could create a new policy to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy in Brazil I would take advantage of the country’s climate. Brazil has a lot of potential for solar energy and yet it is not been properly used our encouraged. Another form of energy that Brazil has started to take advantage but it still is very small regarding to its possibilities is the energy generated by wind sources. The photo I used shows solar energy being used in the households in a social housing project in Santa Maria, Brazil.
