The constructive system in this building was steel structure with light walls. In Mexicali, Mexico (located in the northern border), almost every used material is imported, in their majority from United States, because of its proximity with this country. The cement, the glass, the densglass panels for the walls, steel-deck for slabs, and others were brought from USA. The steel for the structure was imported from China, and the steel mesh for the skin from Spain.
