This is a photo of a neighbourhood called Rubem Berta in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In the photo we can see that there are several buildings and almost no houses, which tells us that probably there is a high density of people living here. Also the quality of the streets, without sidewalks, bike lanes, proper paving, can tell us that this is not very busy street. Also we can not see any people in the streets in this photo. As for how to turn the information into knowledge for the urban planning, I believe that understanding that even whitout a busy traffic this streets are not used by pedestrians which can signify that there is another problem here, and in this particular case the problem is the lack of security. The invisible information shows that even though a lot of people live here, they avoid the streets, sometimes taking different roads that may be safer.
