FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"
Uploaded on 2017-09-19 by small peninsula to be changed into public park
This photo was taken in an old residential area of Chongqing City, China. We can see a couple of cars parked along the road on a bright sunny day. The residential area has both low and high rise robust concrete buildings. The super high rise building in the background is an office building further down. Example of the invisible information are the range of age, approximate monthly salary, education level, health conditions, marital status, number of children, apartment ownership of the residents… The number of children as well as their age range will allow us to know whether opening a kindergarten in the area will be profitable or not, while the average monthly salary will allow us determine the price per child for the kindergarten’s facility.
