The route I usually choose is route three as defined in the attached diagram. While this is not the fastest route, it is more convenient than route 2 as there is a degree of difficulty in trying to park your car anywhere near the university due to parking restrictions. Furthermore, while I love to walk, the time taken to walk is almost double which is too much of a trade-off. The second bus journey of route 3 is the primary mode of transport to university for many students and as such it can become a social experience as you often bump into someone that you know. For both convivence and social interaction, route 3 is the obvious choice – despite notably high bus fares!
