1.Five most liveable cities: i.CHANDIGARH,INDIA ii.VANCOUVER,CANADA iii.AMSTERDAM,NETHERLANDS iv.NASHVILLE, USA v.AGRA,INDIA 2.Characteristics which makes most liveable cities: i.Environmental issues which directly leads to health is important to make a city liveable. Because environment and Eco system must be good for better health.. ii.Urban design leads to better design n comfort for liveable city. iii.Economy of the city contribute to economy of country and its development plan. iv.Infrastructure makes a city attractive and most of the good liveble cities are well constructed with latest technology. v.health is also an important factor with wealth in order to make the city liveble. Only then city and their country can develop. 3.In my city Dehra dun ,India there need lots of work to do in order to stand on above described points. AS per environmental point of view ,environment and natural tourism places are in abundance only need to modify some points like cleanness of the city,garbage disposal etc. Keeping the point urban design everything need to change here in order to make city liveable. Economy of per person and income generation resources are moderate here.Need to do some latest industrialization work. Infrastructure like road network,traffic system ,construction techniques are very old here. so it must be change by some latest techniques Health is also an issue of the city although there are some good hospital with better facilities not not approachable to all and uncleanness is real cause to health hazards. Chandigarh is well planned city in India.There is everything is planned like transport system, environment, use of waste products etc.
