Identifying stocks and flows is an integral part of making city more livable. By identifying certain aspects of different fundamental areas it becomes easier to figure out possibilities for improvements in current situations and redeveloping also. Through this picture, we can infer that the focus is based on road and transport. The three examples of stocks and flows are : Vehicles : plying from different states carrying passengers or goods either on their way to a destination via this city or to this destination city itself. The heavy vehicles like buses or trucks passing via the city may not be such a good way as they will add to the current atmospheric malady that has been going on in the NCR(National Capital Region of Delhi). The vehicles passing via the city could be diverted from a bypass-highway or a freeway that will neither add to the woes of bad air quality and neither will add to the traffic congestion of the city. Goods : The vehicles or trains that will be destined for the city, will bring in goods and items, from their respective manufacturing units, to be sold. so they will add to the economy of the city and thus improving the business and trade, and thus improving the employ-ability and opportunities in the city and state as well. Opportunities : When there are people migrating and goods coming then certainly the employment opportunities increase and with it does quality of life also improve. In this picture we can infer that the driver of the yellow-green auto might be a migrant from a different state who has got a better opportunity to earn his living here and he is in fact directly involved in making the transport in the city much better connected.
