This house from Mullica Hill, New Jersey, and many houses from the suburban Northeast U.S. are made of multiple materials, with the majority being wood, cement, and glass, along with the roof shingles which could comprise of countless things. North American Countries are the largest source of wood since the majority of the land contains forests, but Russia and some European countries come very close to the U.S. in wood exports. Cement comes from mostly Asia and the Middle East, and glass exports span from China to Europe to the United States. The point is that these materials are no longer local and it is difficult to determine exactly where the materials came from because of the globally connected system of trading building materials.
