1. Safety, Political Stability, Infrastructure, Education, Economy 2.Each person's perception of where they live varies from one to another. This of course is due to each person's understanding of liveability and understanding of the good quality of life. For some it might be related to public services, for others it might be housing, climate or even the economy. For me it's as follows: I currently live in Doha-Qatar. The major reasons that caused me to leave my country and head to Doha are listed accordingly: A. City's advancement and appreciation for architecture & planning ![City's Skyline showing advancement and appreciation for architectural quality building][1] B. Job Opportunities C. Stable Politically D. Economic Advancement E. Recreational Activities ![Image illustrates a public spaces designed indoors for people visiting the Festival City at Doha][2] 3. My residence fulfils my liveability criteria by a reasonable percentage of 75%. Services including gym, pool, social life and even clean environment and also has a good reasonable economic pay are evident since I live in a compound . The 25% residue is due to the fact that it lacks life during summer days in the park or the outdoor public space provided due to the high climatic temperatures. This affects the life of residents in the compound and people start to search for other places to head out to which are indoors with activities to be done on weekends other than spending the time at home. ![The image portrays the public services available at the compound][3] ![The pool at our compound][4] 4. The thing I would change would be the way the public space has been arranged, I would provide more well-thought of planning for the compound residents since i should take into consideration the hot climate during the summer days and should be able to accommodate all residents with the same services and indoor activities in the summer since this is something they are used to. Also, I would provide residents with a supermarket placed inside the compound for limiting the use of cars inside the compound and allowing them to walk to buy their goods and groceries by which they don't have to travel for long distances to do so. Also, I would provide them with a recycling method by which it would help enhance the internal environment of the compound itself. 5. I would definitely choose to move to the following cities : A. Hamburg, Germany since Hamburg is a city that is fully serviced. After visiting it and being able to stay there for a while I realised what a peaceful place it would be to live there. There is a clean environment, local production of goods, solved transportation that is reliant on trains and bicycles rather than the complete dependance on the automobile cars. Pedestrian walkways are also evident which improves the quality of life with no fear or stress to walk in the streets. The greenery is also evident during spring times and the people there are all multicultural and come from different backgrounds. Other qualities including the ability to separate and recycle garbage which allows for a longer sustainable future. B. Toronto Canada - Politically stable, clean environment, communal activities, ease of transport and ease of access to services C. Australia - Political Stability - Clean Environment - Public Services - Good Education for kids- Multicultural culture [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14955655096450186.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/1495565607355724.jpg [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/1495794184604872.jpg [4]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14957942106114121.jpg
