The most Liveable cities I know are 1.Fort Collins, Colorado, USA 2. Munich, Germany 3. Wiesbaden, Germany 4. Washington D.C. or Mahé in the Seychelles but that is not a city in the normal meaning 5. Zurich, Switzerland 6. Stockholm, Sweden To find the fife most important characteristics for a livable city, I have some different points 1. amount of people living in the city (meaning not to many) 2. a river should be nearby, or a lake or the sea 3. the bike path situation in the city and around the city should be really good and safe to use. 4.the public transport system should be affordable and good structured 5. the mountains should be close by To improve the city I live currently in would be easy in my mind. A much better and wider public transport system would be nice, as well as some train connections to the next bigger cities like Denver or the Airport...here is s public transport system, but just within the city and there the bike path system is really well also. So mayby something like a s-bahn to the surrounding would be nice.
