Urban and architectural design according to a master plan. 2. Sustainability as an important premise of design. 3. Tourism as an important feature of the city. 4. Efficient mobility. 5. International culture without compromising the regional culture. Mexico City has much potential in spite of the fact that is necessary to rethink the city and carry the implementation out according to the master plan. In terms of sustainability it’s necessary to implement green policies that the government has lately started to promote. Such is the case of solar panels in the roofs, the use of electric cars and bikes. However much of these measures have not been correctly designed or implemented. The urbanization of the city has leaded the government to increase the cost of living as a measure to decrease the density of population of the city. Therefore, a great amount of people has immigrated to Queretaro. Regarding tourism, Mexico City received 3.8 million tourists (67.36% occupation) in 2016 with a clear tendency to increase for the next years. Besides, there are many zones in Mexico City with high potential for tourism. However, factors such as the deficient mobility, traffic jams and pollution are factors that require attention in order to improve the liveability of the city and its ranking. With regards the international culture, my personal perception is that Mexican people are proud to be welcoming to almost everyone in the world. Perhaps Mexico City does not present as much diversity as New York, but nevertheless, the immigrants from around the globe are increasing in the last few years and it’s expectable that would present as much cultural diversification as London in the next coming years. Finally, from my point of view, Mexico is proud that almost every tourist or immigrant fell in love with the country and its culture. Personally believe that Mexico has contributed too much to the mankind and will keep on doing so in the future.
