Attached image describes the routes of all possible modes of transportation from my home to work. I usually choose the first option - walk. Even if walking takes longer than any other option, it has much more advantages than the rest - great exercise every day, no delay, contact with nature (in my case), time for thinking... Traveling by car is a second best option (in case the weather is not nice for walk), because I can use the same route as a bus which means that it's quicker than the last option - bus. However, there is a problem with parking in the centre of the city - number of parking spots is very limited and using parking house is very expensive.
