1. How would you define livability? Is the quality or the capacity that have a place or a home to give a comfortable life to the people according the laws created for this. 2. If you need to define livability with the following terms, how would you rank them? (1= most important- 7= least important) In my opinion I would put the follow order: Number 1: Political Stability. Number 2: Economy. Number 3: Job Opportunities. Number 4: Infrastructure/Transportation. Number 5: Safety/Sanitation Standards. Number 6: Health Care. Number 7: Housing. 3. Choose three cities in the United States (prefereable in different states). I chose the following cities: Los Angeles, Miami Dade and Washington D.C. 4. Livability score of the cities. CITY LIVABILITY SCORE CUSTOMIZED LIVABILITY SCORE CHANGE (+/-) Los Angeles 47 46 -1 Miami Dade 50 49 -1 Washington D.C 59 58 -1 6. Can you explain the change in livability scores of your cities? -Los Angeles: the more hard changes were in neighborhood and health care, both gave the most high changes in their quality. -Miami Dade: showed high changes in the quality of neighborhood and health care like in the city of Los Angeles. -Washington D.C. : the high changes were in the environment and the housing.
