The five most liveable cities I know, based on my own experience and judgment, are: 1. Munich 2. Vancouver 3. Geneva 4. Copenhagen 5. Wellington The characteristics that I find make a city liveable are: 1. Safety 2. Sanitation 3. Environment 4. Culture 5. Recreational Activities The closest city to me is Amsterdam. It was the 5th safest city in the world in 2015. It was the 18th cleanest city in the world in 2016. Its canals contribute a lot to its environment as well as the trees lining the streets and marks. However, I would rather it have a larger natural feature. The culture is very free and open, however, linking to recreational activities, I would prefer it being more outdoor and sports oriented rather than arts. It does have the international mindset. I would say that there is still a lot of improvement that could be made to the safety and sanitation of the city, possibly by setting and enforcing more government policies, to ensure that the standards of these characteristics are upheld.
