One of the most difficult parts of citizen science if finding participating citizens, a design challenge therefore needs to be related to a challenge which concerns the citizens. As the picture shows, mobility is a problem, a solution is to invite citizens to bring in their expertise on how to get around town, and let them design a vehicle that suits the city’s needs.
