This is San Martin Square , as you can see its surrounded by buildings , it has a monument to Don Jose de San Martin who made the declaration of Independence of Peru. Other things you can see are the materials used in the square, type and number of trees, etc. What you can't see in a photo is how is this place used in along the day. This Square is used as a place of protest, where a protests ends its march, its a place where people make their voice heard. Also at night this is where u gather if you want to go to diferent pubs and bars in Downtown Lima.
