1)Diamantina, my hometown, is a small town in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais - Brazil, and it has a great historical importance for the country. From this we can see that the most important stocks and flows are people, financial / capital and density; 2)Due to its historical importance, the city receives a large number of tourists each year, which generates a large flow of people and consequently feeds trade in the region - responsible for the generation of capital and the financial flow in the city. In addition, the existing Federal University in the city has attracted even more people to the region, contributing to the increase of the flow of people and consequently increase of the local density, making the city bigger and more developed economically. 3)Through the analysis of stocks and flows existing in the city we can better understand its functions, dynamics, interactions and with that propose a better urban planning for the sustainable and resilient future.
