Route 1 is the shortest for me when I use private motorized transport because I literally drive from the garage of my home to the front door of my office work. The distance is about 12 to 15 kilometers and because the area is relatively small it does not experience any traffic congestion. It takes me approximately 15 minutes to get to work. Route 2 is the longest to cover the same distance because I walk to the taxi rank which is approximately 500 meters from the office, that takes on average 8 to 9 minutes. I get to the taxi rank and wait (the waiting is longer than the taxi ride itself) for the taxi to fill up with passengers (we use taxi mini buses in my area), the trip takes 30 minutes on average. After riding the taxi, I get off from across my yard and walk the last meters of my journey home. Riding the taxi makes my travel less enjoyable because it takes me longer to get to my destination compared to driving.
