As the most important stock and flows in Sydney can be considered 1. People, 2. Food and 3. Building materials. 1. We can notice the flow of people in the city every day. There are different types of group of people who are traveling to the city. The biggest group is probably students and working people traveling to the city for education or work, mostly on weekdays. Other bigger group is a group of tourist traveling mostly in the seasonal period. 2. Although the flow of food is not so noticeable, it is clear that it has to be one of the largest and daily flows in the city. 3. The last flow, which I have mentioned is a flow of building materials. Sydney is a fast growing city and it brings with it the need of constructing new buildings and thus the needs of building materials. Sydney has currently one main CBD in the centre of city (second CBD has been developing in Parramatta) and it means that all most important stock and flow are taking place there. These stock and flows could be changed if we would had more smaller strategic centres, which would divide these flows into more smaller flows.
