The city is considered a student city, as 20% of city residents are students. The city has a long history of rich culture. In Tomsk for the first time beyond the Urals appeared the first university. At present, there are several federal state universities in Tomsk that train specialists not only for Russia, but also for foreign students. The city is constantly evolving, the number of residents is constantly increasing, and a lot of new housing is being built. 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? 1) Enviroment – 80%. 2) Housing – 70%. 3) Education – 90%. 4) Transportation – 60%. 5) Job opportunities – 80%. 4. What would you change? First, it is necessary to improve transport accessibility, to unload a number of streets, where traffic jams are formed at peak hours. Secondly, it is necessary to create the appropriate conditions for students to remain in Tomsk after graduating from universities, working for the benefit of the city. Thirdly, to decentralize heating, it is necessary to develop local heat sources. 5. Why do we move? Turin, Italy: safety, climate, infrastructure. Traveling to Europe is an opportunity to study, meet, architecture and town planning. Berlin, Germany: Economics, Infrastructure, Education, safety, job opportunities. Madrid, Spain: Infrastructure, education, safety, job opportunities.
