Module 4 - compulsory Exercise: Heat island effect. Hello! I live in a suburb of Tomsk. It's a view of my city from the suburbs. In Tomsk, I go to work. My village is located on the opposite bank of the Tom River and every day I cross it. My village is located in the natural landscape. Air masses (cyclones and anticyclones) pass through the building freely, without delaying. The exception occurs in depressions (e.g. gullies) are delayed wet and cold air. I did not see any warm islands here. If the cold masses came to the village, then in the city the temperature decrease (as well as the increase) begins 2-2.5 hours later. heat islands in the city is there, but not visible. It is dominated by cold islands!!!
