The provided graphic above shows a Google map of the two possible routes from my home to my office, both routes take up vastly different amount of time and the second is mostly unreliable. The first one is the most reliable and appealing since it is my car and is reliable and dependable and I can control to within an acceptable tolerance my punctuality and am relaxed knowing that I can stay at the office for as long as I need without having to rush to meet a certain bus or metro schedule. I do walk during my lunch and after office hours in order to make up for the prolonged periods of inactivity due to the long travel times I spend everyday in the car.
