1) Cantareira Water System: This is the main water reservatory in Sao Paulo. Due to the lack of rain and also lack of planning it almost got empty 2 years ago. This raised a important question that was not in the people`s main concernings and forced the government to implent quick actions to integrate all the water systems, to reduce the waste of water and to create a citizen's commum consciousness regarding the importance of water and its use responsible. This clearly show the importance of "stocks" and flows", to create this balance between flow and stock in water demands is crucial. 2) CEASA - wholesale food center. In Sao Paulo, the main Wholesale Public place for producers is the CEASA center, located in the west area of the city. Here they receive most of the raw production of vegetables, fruits and several other types of food and plants, to be sold to business consumer market in general such as small and medium markets, restaurants, small food shops. This creates a huge "flow in" and a huge "flow out". In the past this location was in a good position but as the city has grown a lot, specially in this area, the cost of the land and the traffic there, created new concernings for CEASA and for a couple of years already the government is planning to change its place. 3) Cargo Terminal: on the other side of the city we have the Cargo Terminal, responsible for receiving lots of transport companies, they have a safe place to stock their freights and reorganize that in order to keep there delivering service. This terminal is in a good geographical area but as it was made several years ago it is already small for the high demand. So it is also planned its expansion by the government.
