Moscow as any other megapolis has a big difference of temperature between its center and edges. Moscow is situated mostly between forests and swamps. This fact has a strong influence on UHI effect of the territory: Moscow suburb is noticeably less heated than build-up areas. Problem is that in Russia there is no researches or monitoring of this effects.
