1) First Route (yellow-orange line in the picture) Walk (mode of transportation), 10 min (time), 500 m (distance) Bus (mode of transportation), 22 min (time), 6.3 km (distance) Walk (mode of transportation), 1 min (time), 20 m (distance) I usually go out home at 8.30 am, take the bus at 8.50, arrive at the work nearest bus stop at 9.10-9.15, and I am there at the work place. The traffic is usually calm because the morning rush hour is 7.30-8.30, and I avoid it on purpose given that I can freely manage my time. There are not much people around when I arrive at the first bus stop, and no shop is open as they open at 9.00. When I arrive at the work nearest bus stop, there is a fair crowd of professionals on their way to their offices or the tribunal. I am very happy about this first route because I just have to walk, take the bus and I am very near the work place. 2) Second Route (blue line in the picture) Walk (mode of transportation), 1-10 min (time), 0-500 m (distance) to take the parked car Car (mode of transportation), 14 min (time), 6.8 km (distance) Walk (mode of transportation), 1-20 min (time), 1m-1.5km (distance) to take the parked car When I rarely take the car, I go out home at 8.45 am, take the car at 8.50, arrive at the work place at 9.10-9.15, spend 5-30 minutes looking for parking, and arrive at the work place in 1-20-minute walk. The traffic is usually calm because the morning rush hour is 7.30-8.30, and I avoid it on purpose given that I can freely manage my time. There are not much people around when I take the car, and no shop is open as they open at 9.00. When I arrive at the work, there is a fair crowd of professionals on their way to their offices or the tribunal and much traffic given to the tribunal vicinity. I rarely take the car, just for emergencies, because it is stressful to drive (although the traffic is calm and regular, there are many cars in certain hot points), to look for parking, and to pay attention to where you park the car.
