There are three possible routes from my home to my work. Route 1 walk - 3700 m Total time - 30 min Route 2 walk 200m - 3 min Tram 6700 m - 25 min metro 4800 m - 6 min walk - 300m - 4 min Total time - about 40 min Route 3 walk 500m - 5 min underground - 20 min walk - 300m - 4 min Total time is about 30 min As you can see, first and third routes take up the same amount of time. But in the first case I can get tired in the morning. 1st route runs through the park, it is good for evening walk after work. The same situation with the 2nd route: not the fastest, but I like to go by tram, see in the window (the image is taken from http://places.moscow/interesting/interesnie_marshruti_moskovskogo_transporta/interesnie_marshruti_moskovskogo_transporta.html) The second route is more comfortable in the morning: fast and easy. but I dont like it because of crowd in the Moscow underground during the rush hour
