1.Which are your top livability criteria? Economy - Culture - Housing - Transportation - Education 2. Why do we live where we live? I'm living in Turin Italy. Turin is one of the oldest city in Italy, was the first capital of the Italy Kingdom, with the Royal Family the Savoia. Is a city where you could find a connection between the past and the future, Turin has been also a industrial capital of Italy with the Fiat factory. Currently Turin is in a very interesting development process because with the crisis of the Fiat and the deindustrialization of large area of the city today it is in place the opportunity to rethink/redesign the city. The goal of the local political bring the city to the charm of the past, with high priority in culture, education, health care, housing. I think is a really a good moment for an Architect to lives here. 3.To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? Economy 70% - Culture 80% - Housing 70% - Transportation80% - Education 80% Overall livability score is 70% 4. What would you change? Turin is a big city, there are different things to change or improve. If I have to choose the first measure to take to improve livability, I think is necessary to improve the sustainable mobility and pedestrian areas. 5. Why do we move? I would choose to go to London (UK), Paris (France), Barcellona (Spain) New York (USA). These cities, in my opinion are one of the most liveable cities because they have high rates of job opportunities, education, infrastructure, economy, and also great recreation possibilities.
