1- List of the five most liveable cities I know: Tiradentes São Lourenço Itaúna Ouro Preto São Roque de Minas 2- In my opinion, the five most important factors of liveability are: Security Quality of basic services (water, sewage and electricity) Low pollution and noise levels Good public transportation Quality of infrastructure (sidewalks, parks and plazas) 3- In my city, security is relatively satisfying, although it varies from a neighborhood to another. Basic services are ok, but there is no sewage treatment, rendering the river that cuts through the city unusable for leisure. Many old factories still operate near residential areas, so pollution and noise levels are somewhat high. Public transportation is very expensive and unefficient, so most people prefer to commute by car. That raises pollution and noise levels, and also causes traffic jams on certain periods. Infrastructure is not good. Sidewalks are in poor conditions and there is no accessibility, parks and plazas are not well maintained. Picture shows a small plaza with a kiosk. Roofing tiles are all missing and were never replaced. The river runs right behind it, and as it has no sewage treatment, the smell is very bad is this location. Therefore this plaza is hardly used. Making it a unsafe and unpleasant place.
