This is my route from my house to my office in Serui. Fortunately, Serui is a very small city, making me going around the city very easy using motorcycle, car, or even walking. Sadly though, there is no public transportation here, there is only a taxibike, and it’s not even official transportation. Almost everyday, I’m using route number 1, which is using my private motorcycle, going north though a small hill that is very cool at the morning because it’s still surrounded by a forest. This route is my number one option because it’s cold and it has no traffic (no red light). I call this route as the mountain route, because we’re going through a steep hill with forest surrounding it. Route number 2 is simply going work on foot. By walking, I can use a route that is impossible by motorcycle, which is going through a small abandoned airfield in the middle between my home and my office. This route is great, because it’s fresh to walk on the morning, but I just lazy sometime, so I stick using route number one. Route number 3 is using motorcycle through the city, it has 2 red lights which means minor traffic, and there is no scenery to look at, it just houses and buildings left and right. I rarely use this route, even that I know that this is a shorter route compared to number one. Route number 4 is only for when (for some reasons) I don’t have my motorcycle with me. So I have to walk a little bit to a big road where there are a lot of taxibike waiting, this will cost me 5 thousand Indonesian Rupiah, or about 50 cent of Singapore dollar, or about 30 cent of Euro.
