On the provided graphic I tried to sketch two possible routes from my home to my workplace. As we can see, both routes take up the same amount of time. The second one looks even more appealing as I have to walk less and can enjoy the view from a window of a bus and a trolleybus instead of stressing in the underground. However, I have never used the second route because above-ground transport is highly unreliable. You never know how long you will have to wait for it and can’t be sure that you won’t waste hours in traffic jams. Secondly, using two means of transport will be more costly compared to one ride on metro.
